Over 4000 people attended from 85 different countries
After only seven months of actual preparation and two years of fervent prayer, the 8th CBMC World Convention was finally under way on July 20th, 2005 in South Korea.

CBMC Welcome into Beijing, China
The CBMC World Convention is history. It also made history. With more than 4,000 people representing 85 countries in attendance, this memorable 75th Anniversary Convention was the largest World Convention in CBMC history.
Nestled in the beautiful mountains of South Korea, the renowned Vivaldi Park Ski Resort was the site of this historic meeting. Gathering each morning and evening in an air-conditioned tent the size of a football field, delegates from around the world would lift their voices in worship and praise, be encouraged by moving ministry testimonies, and hear dynamic speakers, such as Reverend Dongwon Lee of Korea and Bible teacher Kenneth Meshoe of South Africa.
Isaiah 43:18-19, “Behold I Am Doing a New Thing!” was the Convention theme and certainly deemed appropriate for the current times in our changing world. Plans are already under way for the 2009 CBMC World Convention to take place in South Africa.
