Andrew Tyndale is a senior executive within the Corporate Pricipal Investment Group at Babcock & Brown Australia Pty Ltd, where he has been employed for 12 years. He has had more than twenty years professional corporate experience in merchant banking, having previously been employed by such investment banks as Macquarie Bank Ltd and the predecessor to UBS.
Andrew's other current directorships include Babcock & Brown Communities Management Pty Ltd, the manager for Babcock & Brown Communities Group, an ASX listed investment company; Gloria Jean's Coffees, an unlisted company; and Opportunity International Australia Limited, the Australian arm of a global Christian aide organisation.
Other current and recent Directorships include a number of Babcock & Brown affiliates as well as Biota Holdings Limited, Chandler MacLeod Limited and Golden Circle Limited.
Andrew is Canadian-born and Australian by choice. He has been married to Phillippa for 24 years, and they share their home with 3 great young offsring. Christian City Church, Oxford Falls has been his spiritual home for almost all his time in Australia and he has several leadership roles there.
